How to make cute paper flowers

I found a video on YouTube making paper flowers, here's my own tutorial below

Start with 6 squares of thin card stock sizes- (in inches)
2x 4"x4"
2x 3"x3"
2x 2"x2"

Fold each square in to a triangle

-
Fold again

And again

Cut your triangle into an icecream shape

If you have chosen thick card the smaller squares can be a bit tricky!!

Unfold, and you should have six flower shapes

Make a small hole in the centre of each flower

Choose a brad to match

Starting with the smallest flowers feed each one onto the brad, try and put them at different angles

Continue until all flowers are on the brad and secure

Next find a bottle which can mist water, I used an old curling spray bottle

Spray the flower with a light mist

Scrunch up each flower layer one at a time, re-misting each new layer

Continue until all layers are scrunched

Very carefully unravel, card stock can rip as it will be pretty soggy

And there we have a pretty home made flower! If you have spray glitter you could spray to add a bit of sparkle

Allow to dry and it's ready to use on any card making/ scrap booking project
